What are Credits in Revid?

Revid uses a credit system to give you access to various features. Each feature, like generating a video or creating an image, has a specific credit cost. This system helps keep things flexible—you only pay for what you use!
Let’s take a look at how credits are used for different features on the platform.

1. Voice Generation

Do you want to add a voice to your videos? Here’s how it works:
  • Cost: 10 credit for every 500 characters of text.
For example, if you have a 500-character script, it will cost 10 credit to generate a voiceover. If your script is longer, say 1,000 characters, it will cost 20 credits, and so on.

2. Image Generation

Revid allows you to generate images to use in your videos or projects. The cost depends on the quality of the image model you choose.
  • Cost:
    • 4 credits per image if you use our “best model” for high-quality images.
    • 1 credit per image if you use a standard model.
For instance, if you want 5 high-quality images, it will cost you 20 credits (4 credits x 5 images). On the other hand, using the standard model for 5 images will only cost 5 credits.

3. Video Generation

This is the main feature that most users will love. Whether you’re creating short clips or longer videos, here’s the cost breakdown:
  • Cost: 15 credits per video.
No matter the length or complexity, every video you generate will use 15 credits.

4. Avatar Lip Sync

Want to make an avatar speak? Revid allows you to sync lip movements with the script you provide.
  • Cost: 20 credits for every 500 characters.
For example, syncing an avatar’s lips to a 500-character script will cost 20 credits. If the script is longer, the credit cost will increase accordingly.

Broad Estimate Example: Creating a 30-Second Video

To give you a rough idea of credit usage, let’s say you want to make a 30-second video with “AI Moving Images” using the best image model available.
  • Voice Generation: If your script is around 500 characters, that will cost 10 credit.
  • Image Generation: If you use 3 high-quality images, that will cost 12 credits (4 credits per image x 3 images).
  • Video Generation: Creating the video itself will cost 15 credit.
  • Avatar Lip Sync: If the avatar lip syncs to the 500-character script, it will cost 20 credits.
