Creating a New Video
Step 1: Start a New Project
- If you are in the dashboard, click "Create New Video." and select Ai Movie Maker, or go to https://www.revid.ai/tools/ai-movie-maker
- You’ll see a text input to either enter your video text manually or use the AI script generator to help create a script for your animation.
- If you’re unsure of what to write, the AI script generator can assist you in crafting a compelling story for your sci-fi animation.
For the video above, I used the script generator and the prompt below
A futuristic sci-fi story where humans a given clocks in their wrist and die when the time runs out, but the rich have unlimited time. So the poor plans to revolt and take back the time.
Then I copied the generated script and past into the input box below.
Step 2: Choose Your Voiceover
- In the next section, choose an AI voice for your video narration. There are a variety of AI voices to choose from that can match the tone of your futuristic theme.
- If you prefer a more personal touch, you can also record your own voice and upload it.
For the video above, I selected the 'Brian' voice, representing an American middle-aged man, to serve as the narrator and intensify the eerie atmosphere.
Choosing Visuals and Effects
Step 3: Select Visual Parameters
- In the third section, you can choose between different visual elements for your video:
- AI-generated moving images that bring your scenes to life.
- Stock videos if you prefer pre-made footage.
- Or AI video generation, which uses Revid.ai’s AI to create custom visuals for your video (I used this option for the video above).
Step 4: Select Your Generation Preset
- Next section, you’ll choose a generation preset for your video. Scroll through the options until you find Sci-Fi, which will provide the futuristic vibe you’re aiming for.
- Tip: You might need to scroll to the right to find the Sci-Fi option.
Adding Background Music
Step 5: Choose Background Sound
- In the fifth section, select a preloaded background sound from Revid.ai’s library.
- Alternatively, you can upload your own custom sound or music to give your video a unique feel.
For my video above, I choose Snowfall sound to give it a Sci-fi vibe.
I also recommend you checkout Bladerunner sound for this use case, but please feel free to try and experiment with other sounds too.
Generating Your Video
Step 7: Generate Your Video
- Once all your settings and choices are in place, click the "Generate Video" button.
