Creating a New Video

Step 1: Start a New Project

  1. Go to https://www.revid.ai/tools/article-to-video
  1. When the page opens, you’ll see a text input to enter your article link

Step 2: Choose Your Voiceover

  1. In the next step, choose an AI voice for your video narration. There are a variety of AI voices to choose from.
  1. If you prefer a more personal touch, you can also record your own voice and upload it. In this example, I’m using the Bill AI voice

Customize Options

Step 3: Select Visual Parameters

In the step, you can choose between different visual elements for your video:
  • Import Images (Optional):
      • You can import images to enhance your video by pasting a URL or uploading custom images. To retrieve media directly from a URL, click on "Get Media From URL" or simply drag and drop images into the upload box.
  • Choose Media Type:
      • Select the type of media that will be used to illustrate the video. Choose from different options like "Scraped media" from the article link or “Moving AI Images” to guide the AI in using specific footage or assets.
  • Choose Your Screen Ratio:
      • Adjust the aspect ratio of your video to match your target platform. Options include formats such as 9:16, ideal for mobile and social media platforms.
  • Prevent Content Summarization:
      • Toggle this option to prevent the AI from summarizing content if it exceeds 500 characters. By default, content is automatically summarized if longer than this limit.
       
For the video, I click Get Media From URL and select Scraped + Stock media

Adding Background Music

Step 4: Choose Background Sound

  1. Here, select a preloaded background sound from Revid.ai’s library.
  1. Alternatively, you can upload your own custom sound or music to give your video a unique feel.
For the video above, I choose Bladerunner sound.

Generating Your Video

Step 5: Generate Your Video

  1. Once all your settings and choices are in place, click the "Generate Video" button.
  1. Revid.ai will process your inputs and create the video based on your selected script, visuals, voiceover, and background sound.
  1. You are then redirected to the revid editor where you could add some effects or export the video in different orientations.
